A complete report of "Information and communication technology" and how it is increasing in today's education. Modernization of utilizing mobile devices, computers, and different technology may be causing a different scenario than what is expected. Not only because the students or teacher may have the newest technology in their hands means they know how to use it. The learning of skills and methodologies practicing different pedagogies are necessary for the 21st century classroom. |

How to Build a 21st-Century School System In a world where the kind of things that are easy to teach and test have also become easy to digitise and automate, it will be our imagination, our awareness and our sense of responsibility that will enable us to harness the opportunities of the 21st century to shape the world for the better. Tomorrow’s schools will need to help students think for themselves and join others, with empathy, in work and citizenship. They will need to help students develop a strong sense of right and wrong, and sensitivity to the claims that others make. What will it take for schools to be able to do this? Andreas Schleicher, initiator of the OECD Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) and an international authority on education policy, has accompanied education leaders in over 70 countries in their efforts to design and implement forward-looking policies and practices.

Teachers are the most important school-related factor influencing student learning. Teachers can help level the playing field and provide opportunities for success to all their students. They can inspire students to innovate; to think and reflect and to work in collaboration with others.

"Based on an in-depth analysis of the literature and informed by a small network of experts, the paper identifies and operationalises an integrated model that consists of seven over-arching ‘action-oriented' dimensions which show how to transform schools into learning organisations: Developing and sharing a vision centred on the learning of all students. Creating and supporting continuous learning opportunities for all staff. Promoting team learning and collaboration among all staff. Establishing a culture of inquiry, innovation and exploration. Embedding systems for collecting and exchanging knowledge and learning. Learning with and from the external environment and larger learning system. Modelling and growing learning leadership. In short, a school as learning organisation has the capacity to change and adapt routinely to new environments and circumstances as its members, individually and together, learn their way to realising their vision."
