The spot features a pint-sized Darth Vader who uses the Force when he discovers the all-new 2012 Passat in the driveway. It leverages humor and the unforgett...
We heard earlier in the month that the Star Wars saga would be coming to Blu-ray, all we knew was that it would be available some time in September of 2011, and it looks like the launch date may be the 27th of September.
The new Star Wars series, which is inspired by the look of Funko's Plushie line of ultra-cute and stylized plush and already includes characters from DC Comics, Marvel, movie icons, and more, debuts with seven classic trilogy characters: Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Yoda, Han Solo, Greedo, and Princess Leia (check out the slideshow below for a closer look at each). A second series is also on deck and will include Luke Skywalker (Empire look), Gamorrean Guard, Boba Fett, Ben Kenobi, Darth Maul, and C-3PO[...]
Today, the man with what is probably the most famous voice in the world turns 80. James Earl Jones was born on this date in 1931 in Mississippi, and — believe it or not — was functionally mute for eight years of his childhood due to embarrassment over his stutter. Fortunately for him and for the world, he overcame his childhood speaking issues to become a great actor and to give voice to, among other characters, one of the most famous movie villains of all time [...]
I have never been to LEGOLAND, but it has to be one of the things geeks need to see before they die. I thought I had a sweet gig getting to sit at home and write about gadgets all day, but these dudes at LEGOLAND California building up a massive Star Wars area all day make me jealous.
Yeah, we too thought Darth Vader was building the Death Star as a weapon of mass intergalactic destruction. Turns out the Death Star was actually built to do something much more important - to protect the Empire's delicious cookies.
Darth Vader was on hand at CES today to announce the forthcoming release of the Star Wars Blu-ray set. As long time fans of his work, we were thrilled to get the chance to ask him a few questions.
I really don't know what's going on in these Star Wars pinup images, but all I know for sure is that they are quite depraved. Yayzus Graphics created these warped versions of Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Greedo and even Admiral Ackbar with curvaceous bodies, donning skimpy outfits and splayed out i...
It's well known that Boba Fett is the baddest bounty hunter of a galaxy far, far away. But would he be just as tough in other times and places? Pack Rat
I don't know what hellish battlefield took their comrade, nor do I know if it falls into official Star Wars canon. I don't care. Stormtroopers still ache just like any of us!
The ultimate Star Wars saga visual tome brings together master filmmaker George Lucas' personal shot-by-shot selections from all six Star Wars films into a six-volume, luxurious hardcover set
Oh, did you feel that disturbance in The Force? It was as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in anger and then directed it all at me, and if I’m not mistaken, cough, someone is trying to Force choke me! Let me try to explain before I black out from lack of oxygen unless [...]
Carbonite ain't cheap. Wall hangers cost extra too. Boba's Invoice was made by Brock Davis. You can order it as a print or on a stretched canvas at Society6.
King Leonidas and his army of 300 don't have a lot in common with Boba Fett. The Spartans were patriotic soldiers (HAA-OOH!). Boba was a bounty hunter. The Spartans refused to bow down to a (fictionalized) man who fancied himself a god and paraded around with more jewels than clothes [...]
