What makes the iPad brilliant is that it caters to all different intelligences. In fact most apps touch upon all different types of intelligences. I've tried to match all of my favorite educational apps with their corresponding intelligences. For those apps that matched with more than one, I’ve used equivalents. For example, Showme and Educreations are interactive whiteboard apps that have got the same functions and both fit in the Visual and Aural box. Just like I don’t believe all students fit only in one intelligence box either. All skills need to be developed and the iPad especially makes it do easy to jump from one to the other and more importantly incorporate the different intelligences. Using iPad for reading is something we all enjoy doing; but what about when reading articles in a foreign language ? It is highly probably that you will come across vocabulary you don't know. Of course you might guess the meaning of words from the context in which they are used but this can never replace a clear and definite explanation of a dictionary. To help you find translations of the new words you come across, I compiled a list of some of the best free iPad translator apps. Check them out : http://www.educatorstechnology.com/2012/07/5-great-free-ipad-translation-apps.html#.T_jvDb877UM.facebook

You might be wondering what this Title means. But it’s the fact of today. While many of us might not know this but this has become a good security point to talk on. Most of the time when we just download any kind of Apps from the Google Play or Android Market, it always prompt to give permission to access the device, and most people including us, actually don’t pay attention to it and simply go ahead to download the app. However, this is just equal to a Bad idea of giving the entire access of your Phone contents to the app which could lead to possible data theft, spam, malware and what not! Early last week the personal diary app Path became the fulcrum of a massive discussion about how cavalier mobile apps are getting with harvesting your, presumably, personal information. ... Apps that do send data, with no warning Foursquare stands alone here as an app that was, until an update issued on February 14th, sending personal data with no warning. This is similar to the previous behavior of Path that got it in so much hot water. Since the update, Foursqare now warns users before uploading data. Foursquare says that, while it was uploading the data, it was not storing it.
