So my favorite script kiddy and copycat, Feross (copied, note the shameless “I discovered” in his Quora post, LoL) Found a social engineering flaw in the HTML5 fullscreen mode that can be used for phishing attacks. This time it might be even his own finding… what do you know
I’ve been a Web/Flash designer and more recently a developer for over a decade now. I have been an avid supporter of the Macromedia’s and now Adobe’s Flash technology and all that it enables. Monday was a big day Pixel Lab. We had the incredible opportunity of developing the HTML5 version of Cut the Rope for ZeptoLab (the brainiac creators of the game) and Monday was the launch. Targeting the desktop with Flash has been around for more than 10 years. Using AS3 as the language and Adobe AIR to export gives you great performance and access to really advanced tools that allows for proper debugging, even directly on the GPU.

// another "Hey guys, you know flex, you can do html5" proto solution. Unfo, it's still JS, it's still dynamic, untyped, and looks like a language to teach kids how to code. //.
Streaming Media posted an interesting summary of a webinar with Jeff Whatcott, CMO of Brightcove, discussion the realities of HTML5 for video delivery.
