Some relevant advice that I have stumbled upon. I have even experienced the negative side effects of some of these already, and will endeavor to modify my teaching practices to not include these in the future.

Productive struggle is a necessity for students to develop a deeper understanding of the mathematics. It is paramount for teachers to promote this productive struggle versus hinder it. |
