WebInpaint - Remove unwanted objects & Fix imperfections Online!

WebInpaint - Remove unwanted objects & Fix imperfections Online! | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it

How it works

Inpaint photo restoration software reconstructs the selected image area from the pixels near the area boundary. Remove undesirable objects from your images, such as logos, watermarks, power lines, people, text or any other undesired artefacts. There's no need to manually go through messing around with your old clone tool any more! Now you can use Inpaint to easily remove all those unexpected objects that end up spoiling an otherwise really great photograph.Remove objects from photos

The devil is always in details. A tiny object on a photo can ruin the entire composition or even make it produce the effect opposite to that you initially were hoping for. Using Inpaint removing objects from photos is almost as easy as taking a shot itself. With merely three simple steps you can make power lines, tourists, buildings, background wreckage and other elements vanish as if they never were there....

Classroom Management Tricks: Timers and a tool to control noise

Classroom Management Tricks: Timers and a tool to control noise | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it
As every teacher knows, good classroom management can make the difference between a great class experience and a poor one. While technology doesn’t replace the need for a solid approach to classroom management, tech tools, including these, can certainly help.

Richard Byrne shares two timers, an iPad app that helps students understand noise levels (and hopefully learn to keep their voices down), and a random name selector. There is a detailed explanation of each tool and two videos, one that shares how to use classroom timers and one that looks at using a random name generator in a class.

Not a web designer or developer? You may prefer free tools for creating infographics.

As author, data journalist and information designer David McCandless said in his TED talk: “By visualizing information, we turn it into a landscape that you can explore with your eyes, a sort of information map. And when you’re lost in information, an information map is kind of useful.”

There are many different ways of telling a story, but everything starts with an idea. So to help you get started we’ve rounded up some of the most awesome data visualization tools available on the web....

5 Reasons @HaikuDeck Rocks Visual Marketing | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it

Haiku Deck Rocks Visual Marketing
If you haven't used http://www.haikudeck.com yet you should. Mark Traphagen turned me on to it and it is the best visual marketing tool out there. Here are 5 reasons we love Haiku Deck:

* SO EASY - the creators of Haiku Deck may have made the easiest to use tool on the plant.
* Free - Amazingly the tool is FREE (at the moment).
* Visual Marketing - we use the tool to find images from the Creative Commons. Content marketing is hampered without great images & Haiku Deck helps you find 'em.
* Their Community - great marketers creating awesome decks makes the Haiku Deck community one of our favorites (right up there with Scoop.it).
* Their team - the Haiku Deck team is responsive, social and they want to help.

If you aren't using this awesome content marketing tool yet, you should be.
